RATES

TARIFFS

Costs are based on a number of variables as follows:

• You may supply your own instructor provided the instructor has been trained to safely operate the simulator – approximate cost $100, and is qualified.
• If your are taking instrument renewal  training, all study material is supplied free of charge.
• Examiners’ fees are the responsibility of the customer and not included.
• If training area is outside of CAP 3, the customer is required to provide their own specific approach plates, and low level navigation charts.

• Simulator time is available in initial minimum one hour blocks. Use of subsequent 'part thereof' will be charged in increments of one half hour.
• No charge is made for the use of training aids.
• We do not require any specified total simulator time unless the customer needs the recommendation of a qualified instructor in order to challenge the rating renewal skills test. The choice of the amount of time is solely at the discretion of the customer, who is urged to utilize the full time reserved. Billings are based on time blocked.

PAYMENT

Payment is by credit or debit card only. Contract users will be entitled to pay upon presentation of a monthly invoice. All charges are subject to GST. Save the PST - not applicable in Alberta.

TIME

Blocks are for a minimum period of 1 hour - thereafter in 1/2 hour segments. Use of the training room is without charge and available for each booking. The simulator has staff on site, and the simulator will be configured for the flight characteristics and instrumentation booked.

CANCELLATION

Bookings may be cancelled upon 24 hours notice. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in the customer being charged at the appropriate rate.

SIMULATOR INSTRUCTORS

Subject to availability and with advanced notice of no less than 24 hours, qualified instructors can be provided. Instructor charges ($50 per hour) are in excess of the simulator time charges.

RECORDS

All records are retained on a FTP site free of charge and are available for 30 days from the date of storage. Access to the records, which is confidential, is by username and password .
